Known as "The Legendary Black Redneck," Joel Patrick is a young black conservative influencer heralded by the right after criticizing the Black Lives Matter movement in a viral video. But after making a video criticizing the capital insurrectionists, he was suddenly ostracized by thousands in his online community and even lost close friends. With only his infamous bright-orange lifted truck in tow, he now heads down to Florida from his hometown of Dayton, OH to attend conservative conferences and confront his former allies. @teamrealnew38273 years ago Nearly every video ive watched doing a spot on a black conservative ends with them questioning their views. This was a real interesting watch; even w id="hidden22"hen i super disagree, it is interesting to see the way other ppl are looking at things.
to me the big issue: ppl outside the black community need not be privy to, nor try to offer solutions, for our problems. It is our community and we can, and have been taking strides to, handle issues ourselves. Those issues justify nothing and it seemed to me that joel almost became aware of that

@jhill60333 years ago I never heard of this guy before but i found it interesting that he began to struggle on the very issues that have with these black conservatives that these black conservatives have carved out successful niche businesses in self hatred. Telling white people what they want to hear and s lucrative but stick to the script and dont get cute and make statements that dont align with the conservative thought process because they will drop you in a heartbeat!
i dont care that you wear cowboy boots, drive a lifted pick up and have conservative values but dont self hate! Dont dog out black people to make your white followers happy

@kodyschmautz77992 years ago Although i agree with many views on both sides i am neither a supporter of the left nor the right but especially not the right, however i can really respect this country has gotten so infatuated with the concept of civil opposition that it' s sometimes easy to have the misconception that it' s reds vs blues or republicans vs democrats when we all (as americans) need to stop for a second and remember that the american flag has both red and blue on it and that it' s 2022. And we need to get passed the point of two ultimatums that we are constantly influenced by either side to join orthem and condemn all views and ideas from the other side. People just get so enraptured in the concept of the team cameraodory of red vs blue or ultimately having to belong to one or the other and all other view points that come along with them and that is not only sad but moreover it. Kinda gos against everything that this country and it' s values were initially founded on. Think for yourself and do your own research don' t ever believe or disbelieve something because i or anybody else tells you to, do your own investigating and discover for yourself and form your own opinions and beliefs. Take listen to both sides but if you lean too far either way you' re going to fall over. ...Expand
