Wild mushroom season on the island

The nordic wild mushroom season has officially started and the forests on the island are full of mushrooms! I take you along for a little walk on the forest to pick some of my favourites mushrooms in Hiiumaa, Estonia, and throw them on the grill afterwards! Thank you for watching and please be careful when picking wild mushrooms- only pick the mushrooms that you know for sure! Sorry that the sound is off a bit, it was super windy that day which made is difficult for me to record! I' m surprised you didn' t get injured the teacher in my program told us to never pick mushrooms and berries in the wild, that we should leave nature as it is. Seems really exagerated. I mean, of course i' ll do selective picking and not clear out the area. The mindset is weird in this part of canada. ...Expand 1
