@deniece08212 years agoThe thing I can’t get beyond with Danielle’s “self defense” excuse is why did she wait so long? She waited 11 HOURS before calling 911. Plus, she did a bunch of cleaning. I was the victim of a DV attack. (Luckily nobody died and I did not go to jail/prison.) I don’t want to go into details but there was a fight over a gun. I was able to gain control of it and shot my assailant. (Again, luckily it was not a fatal wound.) I was not trying to kill anyone, only trying to KEEP from being killed. Once my assailant was “incapacitated,” I immediately ran outside (keeping the gun in my possession) and called 911. I wanted the authorities to show up ASAP to PROVE my self-defense actions. Not once did I think to hesitate or clean anything up. I was originally cuffed and put in the back of a patrol car. The officer was very empathetic towards me and asked exactly what happened. Thankfully, a couple neighbors were able to corroborate my statement. Also, they had almost everything on CCTV. (It happened inside a luxury condo building.) I was not charged and my assailant was charged with assault…and many other felonies. Turns out that he was here in the US illegally. @mistyevans81602 years agoI mean common sense would say, if he weren’t chasing her, he would’ve realized something was terribly wrong and possibly could’ve dialed 911 himself. Instead his adrenaline and anger made him chase her, making the blood force out that much quicker. I feel when he went to the room chasing her he then realized something was wrong and made it to living room and laid down and died. She was scared like a lot of people would be to call The authorities because you never know if they are going to charge you anyways. Our system puts a lot of innocent people in prison and to death. ...55

@
@goofygirl1311last yearThat crime scene is horrific. At one point it appears that she dragged his bloody body through their master bedroom from the direction of the master bathroom (why else are there bloody drag marks there?). Blood is tracked all over the house and it appears that she tracked some of it while she was trying to clean up while barefoot! There are bloody towels, a bucket, a bloody knife in the sink and the smell of cleaning products in the air and the defendant looks positively puzzled when the forensic tech says that it appeared as though there were areas where the blood was watered down during a clean up attempt. Blood dripping down the door locks and door knobs . I'm going to have to watch this trial to see how this was self defense on her part. ...3
