Security forces used water cannons and pepper spray on Saturday to disperse environmental activists protesting the felling of trees to make way for a coal mine expansion in southwest #Turkey. Paramilitary police equipped with riot gear surrounded the woodland area in Mugla province where activists set up their camp to stop the destruction of the trees.
