The reason being one, there may be a fatty liver, two there may be a virus, three there be because of medications. Four it maybe because or immunity related problem called as autoimmune liver disease. Five it can be because of metals like copper or iron more in the liver. These are the reasons for high SGPT levels and also one of the common raisin being excessive alcohol intake which causes ALT elevation. When do we make ALT to become normal?
