this is the process explaining about Puli kachal, Puliyodharai podi, Puliyodharai(Puli sadam) or Tamarind rice/ Variety rice/tiffin box recipe or lunch box recipe
Puliyodharai Podi ingredients: 5 red chillies, 3 tbl spns coriander seeds, 1 tbl spn pepper, 1/4 Methi seeds, 1/2 tbl spn gingelly oil
Fry all the ingredients, cool it for 5 mints & grind it as powder in mixie.
Pulikachal ingredients: Mustard, channa & urad dhal, methi each 1/2 spn, 2 tbl spns ground nuts, red chillies 7, curry leaves, hing.
Method:
And lemon size tamarind extraction water, turmeric powder 1/2 spn, salt needed quantity, 3 tbl spns gingelly oil
And oil in a pan, split mustard & all ingredients 1 by 1 as shown in this video. Let the kachal cook for thick consistency.
Now puli kachal is ready. Now add the coarse powder needed quantity. Let leave for 1 mint. Now mix puli kachal in white rice.
