(روي أنَّ موسى عليه السلام لما دفن أخاه هارون عليه السلام ذكر مفارقته له وظُلمة القبر، فأدركته الشفقة، فبكى، فأوحى الله تعالى إليه: يا موسى، لو أذنت لأهل القبور أن يخبروك بلطفي بهم لأخبروك يا موسى، لم أنسَهم على ظاهر الأرض أحياء مرزوقين، أفأنساهم في باطن الأرض مقبورين؟! يا موسى، إذا مات العبد لم أنظر إلى كثرة معاصيه، ولكن أنظر إلى قلَّة حيلته، فقال موسى عليه السلام: يا ربِّ, مِن أجل ذلك سُمِّيت أرحم الراحمين) ، (It was narrated that Moses, peace be upon him, when his brother Aaron, peace be upon him, was buried. He mentioned his separation from him and the darkness of the grave, so pity overcame him, so he wept, so God Almighty revealed to him: O Moses, if I permitted the people of the graves to inform you of my kindness to them, they would have told you, O Moses. I have not forgotten them on the surface of the earth, alive and well. Shall I forget them in the depths of the earth, graves?! Il a été rapporté que Moïse, que la paix soit sur lui, quand son frère Aaron, que la paix soit sur lui, a été enterré. Il a mentionné sa séparation d'avec lui et l'obscurité de la tombe, alors la pitié l'a vaincu, alors il a pleuré, alors Dieu Tout-Puissant lui révéla : Ô Moïse, si je permettais aux gens des tombeaux de t'informer de ma bonté envers eux, ils te l'auraient dit, ô Moïse, je ne les ai pas oubliés sur la surface de la terre, vivants et en bonne santé. Je les oublie au fond de la terre, des tombes ?!
