A meditating jam with the Korg Wavestate, using a custom patch for this wonder of a synth. The patch is available for download (see description below), and is also a part of the "Berlin School and Ambient Construction Kit" sound bank for the Wavestate. Berlin School and Ambient Construction Kit sound bank: https://gumroad.com/waveformer#ODraA My music on Bandcamp: http://waveformer42.bandcamp.com/ I created the patch and composed most of the jam outside on the terrace of our house last night, watching the sun set and hearing the crickets in the background. Sound design and jamming can be very meditative :-). The patch ("performance") consists of 4 layers: - An analog-style el-piano-ish melodic layer - A wavesequence with different choir wavesamples - A wavesequence with some pad-ish samples, LFO panning, quite short gate time and lots of pauses - A wavesequence with some subtle very short percussive sounds with lots of pauses and random LFO panning The patch is called "WF Caprifolium" and can be downloaded from the files section of the "Korg Wavestate Q/A Sharing" facebook group. It is also part of the "Berlin School and Ambient Construction Kit" sound bank available for purchase here: https://gumroad.com/waveformer#ODraA The audio is recorded to SD card on a Zoom R16 and normalized in Audacity. Video is recorded on iPhoneX. Audio and video is synchronized in DaVinci Resolve 15.
